Meet Dr. Gordon McPherson-Rayner | Family Chiropractor in Kitchener
Dr. Gordon grew up in Guelph, Ontario. After earning his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa, he traveled to the other side of the world to study at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic, a school he still considers among the best in the world. He graduated in 2013.
Dr. Gordon is a registered chiropractor in Ontario and a member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
A Personal Connection to Family Chiropractic
Dr. Gordon’s connection to chiropractic is personal. He was born prematurely and was adjusted from a young age, and that early experience shaped his interest in caring for newborns, children, and the parents looking after them. Today, helping families is at the heart of his work.
Experience in Australia and Kitchener
He spent eight years in practice in Australia, caring for families across several generations. Since 2021 he has brought that experience home to Kitchener, carrying on a practice that has served local families since 1997.

Pediatric and Prenatal Training
In 2026 he completed the 80-hour PX + Life University Pediatric Certificate Program. He is a PX Docs Pro chiropractor, a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and Webster Technique trained for pregnancy care.
Because every patient is different, he draws on several techniques, including Gonstead, Thompson, Upper Cervical, Diversified, Activator, ArthroStim, and Pediatric Neuro-Tonal, and chooses the gentlest option that fits each person’s age, comfort, and goals. His mission is simple: to help you make informed decisions and take your health back into your own hands.
Outside the Office
Away from the office, Dr. Gordon is usually behind a camera, camping, or planning his next trip. He is happy to be home in Waterloo Region, and he would love to meet your family.
